Localized Programs and Variants

Local Coast Guard Programs

Because of differing demographic and environmental situations, and because some areas developed a Waterway Watch typeHarbor Photo program before the National program was conceived, the design of some local programs may vary in detail.

Coast Guard Districts or their subdivisions may have an America's Waterway Watch (AWW) program implemented under a different title, or a title combining the local name with America's Waterway Watch.

These local programs my carry names such as "On Guard," "Coast Watch," "Northwest Watch," or "Bay Watch." All of them, however, are centrally connected to and part of the National America's Waterway Watch (AWW) program
